A Friend Came to Visit

This lil bugger was on the wall behind my bed one evening. Don't worry, I didn't kill it. I believe in maintaining good bug karma(except for mosquitos.... hence why I had Dengue). Spiders this big aren't common visitors to my room-mostly just moths, geckos, centipedes(translates exactly in Spanish: cien pies) and mice.

I thought this spider was arrestingly beautiful and haunting at the same time. But still makes me very happy I sleep with a mosquito net.
