The brigadista, community health worker, of La Cruz and I are really close friends, so I try go to La Cruz once a week for work and then every other Saturday, if I can. Her name's Jaquelin and she has two daugthers, Geysel(aka Hazel), 12, and Dania Belen(they call her either name), 5. Jaquelin's husband Eddie is normally off in the campo collecting corn, beans, etc., but gets back to the house in the early afternoon.
